Mr. Jennings, there is much truth in what you say. At least in America, people have difficulty facing any problem until it is in front of their faces.

Additionally, we have politicians who have weaponized problems such as global warming and rebuilding America's infrastructure as communist plots. They have even weaponized religion.

How do they get away with this? Simply due to our limited attention span and our fear of raising taxes.

We are our own worst enemy.
