Mr. Biden tried his best but was hamstrung by the desire to work "across the aisle." Those days are done, and I am sorry to say this. It is now time to call out and say, either you are for democracy, or you are for DJT and his followers. If you elect to be in the Cult of Trump, then you are an enemy of democracy and my enemy.

I mean no disrespect since I am an old guy myself, but if the Left has any chance at winning this war, and make no mistake, the Right considers itself in a war, it needs younger blood than Biden, Pelosi, Schummer, and the gang.

Mr. Biden made no concrete proposals on a path forward other than telling people to go out and vote. Instead of platitudes, he should hammer home on the issues of abortion, voter suppression, and the increasing calls to violence as issued by the Right.

We are a divided nation, and our enemies are watching very closely. If we on the Left can't nip this trend towards fascism, our friends will desert us, and our enemies will have a defacto win. Iran has already raised the question, "If we make an agreement with the present administration, what is the guarantee the next administration won't tear up the agreement as was done by DJT?"

It's time for the Left to be as blunt as the Right and call what is happening an assault on our way of life as surely as an invading army landing on our shores. Only this invading army comprises American citizens, but they are no less very dangerous.

Some of our citizens are emotionally unbalanced, heavily armed, and prepared to do harm.
