I am not sure what label to hang on Trump, his supporters, and their ideas, but I do feel they represent an extreme form of conservatism.

Due to their stacking the Supreme Court and using threats of violence against those who oppose Trump, not to mention Jan 6th, I consider them to be a dire threat to our democracy.

It only took one deranged man to kill Dr. King and one other to kill JFK. An ex-President spouting the violence he spouts could incite others to actually carry out what he is hinting at.

The deaths of the two men cited above changed the course of American politics - either for the good or the bad depends on your viewpoint, but things were changed.

Now consider if some deranged person tried to kill our president or Trump - either of these possibilites could start a violent reaction amoung the followers of either person.

No body or very few believed a thing like Jan 6th could happen here - but it did.
