Daniiel Jennings article comparing the 1948 presidential election with 2024 is very tinely.

An excellent article showing how far off some polls can be. Do people lie to pollsters or are pollsters trying to find people who support their own views?

As I understand it, many polls are takenover the phone. Many of these phones are land lines.

My own experience, as a contractor, has shown me how many people don't have land lines - only cell phones. This appears to be manly centered on yoounger people and younger people could be a large factor in the election.

It is true that many of the younger generations are not happy with Mr. Biden and may vote for JFK; howver, their distaste for the Republican's culture wars and the Ruplican stance on abortion could push many into Mr. Biden's camp.

Is Mr. Biden's age a negative factor for a president? Perhaps in the minds of many he is too old, but I would like to suggest that his years of political experience are a plus for a president.

Other people have voiced the concern that Mr. Biden will die in office and Ms. Harris will become president. To them I say, "So What?" I feel that much of the opposition to Ms. Harris is due to her color and her sex. This voiced by olld fashioned thinking, mainly on the Republican side.

This election is too important to allow a Republican victory.
